In the process of transporting materials on the working surface of the conveyor belt, it is inevitable that materials will run off and spread. When they fall on the non-working surface of the return section, they will be involved in the tail roller or the redirection roller and bonded to the surface of the roller, causing uneven tension of the conveyor belt and damaging the conveyor belt. Larger materials or sundries colliding with the tail roller will directly damage equipment and even casualties. Therefore, it is necessary to install a sweeper, I .e. an empty section sweeper, at the entrance of the return section redirection roller and the tail roller.
